What is City Walk?

It refers to: urban walking or urban roaming, which is a type of urban micro tourism. It is different from sightseeing or purposeful walking, emphasizing a more easy understanding of the history, culture, changes, and innovation of urban streets.

In other words, it means taking a walk, wandering around~

Recently, the editor and his friends had a City Walk at Wutongqiao, where they not only strolled but also experienced the historical and cultural changes of Wutongqiao.

Gongnong Street

Gongnong Street is one of the characteristic old streets in Wutongqiao District. The famous tree "Ficus virens Ait.var.sublanceolata（Miq.）Corner King" of Wutongqiao has grown on this street for over 500 years, witnessing the development and changes of t-his small town.

Suolong Lane

Suolong Lane is located in Huayan Street, Wutongqiao District. There are old houses filled with a sense of time, hidden in old trees, walking on ancient bluestone slabs, and the millennium salt history seems to be unfolding in front of us.

China Tree Root Calligraphy Art Museum

The China Tree Root Calligraphy Art Museum covers an area of 24000 square meters, with a building area of 2485 square meters. It is designed with three floors, including an exhibition hall for the development history of tree root calligraphy on the first floor, a boutique exhibition hall for tree root calligraphy on the second floor, and an exchange center for tree root calligraphy, tree root art, and tree root decoration art on the third floor.

At present, the China Tree Root Calligraphy Art Museum has been rated as a national AAA level tourist attraction by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of The People's Republic of China.

Bodhi Mountain Lvxin Park

Wutongqiao Bodhi Mountain Park is a demonstration area of the "Beautiful Small West Lake" urban characteristic landscape style, with a total area of about 27 hectares. The project has not yet been fully completed, but it can be partially opened during the N-ational Day holiday. You can visit the new Bodhi Mountain Park and breathe fresh air~

Guigu Square, Yangguang Square

A 2.3 kilometer long river corridor has been formed from Guigu Square to Yangguang Square. As night falls, the river breeze is gentle, and the lights are as bright as day. People come out to stroll, and then go to Yangguang Square's "Yangguang Market" to e-at  food. It's really pleasant!
