On September 25, Mid-Autumn Festival, a limited-edition themed bus will be running at Chunxi Road. Note: it only loops around downtown Chengdu — it does not go to Mount Emei. Step aboard and you’re instantly in the Mid-Autumn spirit: window paper-cuts, lanterns, the Jade Rabbit, and even an Emei macaque NPC to play the “fishing for the moon” game with you. Along the way, it stops at the Chengdu Emei Xueya Hotel, where you can enjoy free tastings of Leshan-Emei snacks and Huangjing tea. If you’re in Chengdu for Mid-Autumn, hop on for a ride and taste a little bit of Leshan’s reunion flavor.
