The Mahao Cliff Tomb Museum isn't large, but it brings Han Dynasty life to life in stone – architecture, chariots and musicians, birds, beasts, and insects. Bring your kids, and they'll get an early history lesson without even realizing it.

When you're done, take a stroll over to nearby Wuyou Mountain. Then wind your way back down along the Mahao Wetland, feel the river breeze on your face, and let the afternoon drift by.
